Our process

  • You book

We work with all airlines. Just be sure to book a fare class that allows free changes – typically anything above the basic fare class.

  • Send us the details

Using this form we’ll gather your basic flight details and price paid.

  • We track and notify

Our butlers monitor your flight up until your departure date. If it drops, we’ll email you. No noise or multiple emails…just one with good news.

  • You rebook

Airlines make it so easy to rebook. You’ll rebook your flight (or cancel and rebook depending on airline) but this can be done via their app, the phone or even text. It should take 15-30 mins max.

Assuming you get your savings, our fee is 15%

What types of Flights work?

Most airlines allow you to change your flight at no cost assuming you booked higher than the basic fare option. Miles or cash – either is fine!

how much does this service cost?

You only pay if we’re able to save you money. If we find that your flight goes down and we notify you, we’ll charge you 15% of what we save you. So if your flight goes down $100, we’ll take $15.

Why not use google Flights?

Google Flights is an incredible tool at predicting flights. It’s tracking tool can be used in a similar way to Airfare Butler, we just find it ends up being too many confusing emails and you forget what you paid for your flight.

How often do Prices Go Down?

In our tracking so far, we’ve seen about 40% of flights decrease in price. There are lots of variables like time of year, how far out you’ve booked, the popularity of the route etc. But hey, we think it never hurts to track!

Frequently Asked Questions

What do you do with my data?

Only use it to track your flight! We are travelers just like you and want to save money. We may aggregate your flight info (but not your personal info) to better understand flight pricing trends

What happens if I can’t Rebook?

We get it - life gets busy or sometimes flight prices change quickly. If you are not able to rebook, no worries, we only ask that you pay if you’re able to rebook.
